I grew up in Lakeside, Ohio. I moved to Newark in 2004 to marry my husband Shane. This was right after I graduated from Bowling Green State University with my degree in Early Childhood Education. I began teaching at Par Excellence that year. I have been teaching 1st grade ever since. This past year I finished my masters degree in Intervention from Muskingum University. The night of my graduation I had my first child Ragon Olivia. She has been an amazing addition to our lives. My husband is also a teacher. He teaches Biology for Columbus City Schools. We are the youth leaders of Christian Apostolic Church and enjoying working with young people. We love to travel and have a goal to visit every state.
